| This video creates a magic space where the child
and the crab play-fight, while the mother looks on. Images of sea, sky
and sand, in black and white and in enhanced colour, are mirrored and continuously
overlapping, against a soundtrack of Moroccan music. The video is in two
parts. The second part has a spoken text, the poem Grandmother is a
Crab, in which all three "characters", and the plane that
takes off at the end of both parts, are seen almost as aspects of one single
being. |
